Scripture Guru has a short quiz for every week of Come, Follow Me, already lined up with the official schedule. Put this week’s quiz on the screen, let the class vote, and you have a lively five-minute opener that lands right in the chapters you are about to teach — with zero prep.

- Open this week’s quiz. Go to scriptureguru.com/weeks and tap this week’s lesson title — or just scriptureguru.com for today’s challenge. Each week has a page you can bookmark or send ahead of time.
- Put it on the screen. Cast or plug in a laptop, or pass a phone around a small class. The layout is built for phones and TVs alike.
- Read, vote, check. Read the question aloud. Hands up, or split into two teams and alternate. On a keyboard, press 1–4 to pick an answer and Enter to check it.
- Use the reference. Every answer shows the verse and a one-line explanation. Open the scriptures there — it is a natural first step into the lesson.
- Send it home. Share the week’s link in your class group so students (and parents) can play the other days during the week and compare scores.
Five questions ≈ five minutes. Monday to Friday are scripture questions from the week’s chapters. Saturday is a “live it” application question, and Sunday is a question from a related General Conference talk — handy for a Sunday class.
Ideas by class
- Seminary: use the daily quiz as the bell-ringer, and the Doctrinal Mastery courses for passage drills — “Locate the Verse” mode shows the key phrase and asks for the reference.
- Sunday School / Gospel Doctrine: open with the Sunday question (the General Conference talk) or the day that best matches your discussion.
- Primary (Senior): pick one day, read the question, and let the children vote by moving to a side of the room. The verse reference makes a good “let’s look it up together” moment.
- Family study: take turns on one phone; the share card at the end is a fun thing to send to grandparents.
